A Local Pack displays the top three business listings, underneath a map, in the organic results section of a search engine results page (SERP).
The Local Finder is what the user sees should they decide to click on the More places link towards the bottom of the Local Pack.
From here they can see all the other business listings returned for a particular search term, including those bubbling under the top three results.
The features on a Local Pack vary according to the search term, but often include filters which allow the user to see at a glance the business listings that are of more interest to them.
For each listing, along with the name of the business, reviews, distance from the searcher and business category are also displayed.
Sometimes we see thumbnails alongside each business listing.
Recently we have also seen additional snippets of information for a business including reviews, website mentions, sold here labels and Google Post mentions.
